SATURDAYS: next class 8 FEBRUARY - JORDANS COURTYARD, ILMINSTER, SOMERSET

If your weekdays commitments prevent you from attending my classes on Tuesdays/Thursdays - I am trialing a couple of dates to assess interest for a regular class on Saturdays.

This class is based on the traditional Ashtanga Yoga (half) Primary Series which focuses on building strength, flexibility in a holistic way and learning about the mind-body connection.  It is a physically demanding type of yoga which is led by breath and meditation as you transition from asana (pose) to asana.  You will be provided with a number of options for each asana so you can choose which option is suitable for your level of ability.  There is no competition, judgement or comparison in yoga - so you will be encouraged to focus on developing at your own pace.

Expect to work hard and finish with a relaxing yoga Nidra.  This is a mixed abilities class.

Spaces are limited - please book ahead to avoid disappointment. Mats & props provided.

Cost: £8.50 as a drop in (passes are also available - please enquire at Jordans Courtyard)

Time: 12.00 - 13.15

One-to-One & Private Group Classes

There are many benefits in learning yoga in a One-to-One environment. You will have the teacher's undivided attention and the lesson will be structured addressing your individual goals. The lesson will be arranged at a time and location convenient for you.

One-to-One classes are suitable for complete beginners who would like to learn the  fundamentals of yoga at their own pace; those with injuries or illnesses who require personalised consideration of how to modify some poses so that the poses can be accessible to them; or to practising yogis who wish to deepen their practice  or revise their alignment or technique.
