Balance in yoga practice is just as important as the strength and flexibility of the body and mind. It helps approach and tackle the difficult poses in the same way we tackle difficult situations in our daily life. In yoga, it is paramount to understand the demands of the pose on the specific muscle groups and joints in the context of the body as a whole and the biomechanical movement required to access it.
During this workshop we will explore a range of balancing poses from the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series with some modifications to cater for a variety of abilities to make the poses accessible to all abilities.
Date: Saturday 26 October 2019, 10:00 - 12:00
Venue: Town Hall, Bow Street, Langport TA10 9PR
