Ashtanga yoga is a physically demanding style of yoga with a focus on developing strength, flexibility and balance.
You will practice Primary and some of the Intermediate Ashtanga Yoga sequence of poses. The focus will shift every week from strength to flexibility and from one group of muscles to another. This class is suitable for beginners and intermediate level of ability as I offer various options for every pose to make it accessible to all. Expect to work hard and break a sweat.
COVID-19 NOTICE: this class is currently restricted to 8 students and must be pre-booked. You will need to bring your own mat and props, if using (yoga blocks, belt).
Time: Every Thursday 7pm-8pm
Cost: £10 if attending as a drop in session (if you are using up your 10 class pass please text or e-mail to book your place)

Power Yoga is based on Ashtanga Yoga and shares many of the same qualities and benefits. Expect an hour of strong and dynamic practice aiming to reduce stress, improve focus, stamina, strength and flexibility. Every week our focus will shift, keeping the content new and challenging. This class is suitable for beginners and intermediate level of ability as I offer a variety of options. Expect to work hard.

Props: you are encouraged to bring your own mat
There are many benefits in learning yoga in a One-to-One environment. You will have the teacher's undivided attention and the lesson will be structured addressing your individual goals. The lesson will be arranged at a time and location convenient for you.
One-to-One classes are suitable for complete beginners who would like to learn the fundamentals of yoga at their own pace; those with injuries or illnesses who require personalised consideration of how to modify some poses so that the poses can be accessible to them; or to practising yogis who wish to deepen their practice or revise their alignment or technique.
