Charitable Yoga Class on Saturday, 30 November 2024 - see WORKSHOPS page
Ashtanga Yoga is known to be one of the more physically demanding styles of yoga with a focus on developing strength, flexibility and balance.
Each week you will practise Primary and some of the Intermediate Ashtanga Yoga sequence of poses. Although the sequence of poses will not change, the focus will shift every week from strength to flexibility and from one group of muscles to another.
This class is suitable for beginners and intermediates. Each student will work to own level of ability, gradually progressing through regular weekly practice.
This month's focus: strength & flexibility drills

- an extra layer for the beginning/end of practice.

There are many benefits in learning yoga in a One-to-One environment. You will have the teacher's undivided attention and the lesson will be structured addressing your individual goals. The lesson will be arranged at a time and location convenient for you.
One-to-One classes are suitable for complete beginners who would like to learn the fundamentals of yoga at their own pace; those with injuries or illnesses who require personalised consideration of how to modify some poses so that the poses can be accessible to them; or to practising yogis who wish to deepen their practice or revise their alignment or technique. If you are interested in a one-to-one class please contact me to discuss.
